After college, I cut my teeth at NEWS-Line, a family-owned healthcare publisher with 22 titles. I edited content, co-managed social media channels, exhibited at conferences around the United States and interviewed strangers in scrubs about their jobs.

Three years and many side gigs later, I accepted a job at SEMrush, one of the most popular SEO and content marketing suites in the world. I worked as the blog editor and U.S.-based PR specialist. I managed dozens of remote writers, secured local press and did some public speaking.

In 2015, I made the move to St. Petersburg, FL. I was Employee No. 11 at The Penny Hoarder, a media startup and one of the world's largest personal finance websites. I began in editorial, transitioned to PR and SEO, and was then recruited to join the newly established marketing department.

Overall, some of my favorite projects and wins include being a featured expert on 6abc in Philadelphia, aggressively paying off my student loan debt(!), visiting ESPN headquarters and being published in Susan Shapiro's "The Byline Bible."

You can scope out my LinkedIn for a comprehensive look at my experiences and accomplishments, and also email me for a photo of my "Employee of the Month" trophy if you'd like.

In addition to work-work, I have two three projects on the side:

1. Hide images with NOPE. >> A free Chrome extension you can download to block images on any website. Use it to aid productivity or avoid seeing offensive images.

2. Untitled Project No. 1 >> Clothing item (early prototype stage)

3. Untitled Project No. 2 >> Local site catering to St. Petersburg, FL (ideation phase)
